Nobody likes getting older, but there are some perks that come with aging gracefully, and many of them involve free or discounted items for those ages 55 and over. There are many books that list freebies and discounts for senior citizens; you can find them by searching for "senior freebies" at Amazon.com. There are also many resources online that list one-time and ongoing free offers for seniors.
Many businesses, such as restaurants and department stores offer senior discount cards or special senior shopping days with a percentage taken off your purchases. Some businesses give discounts to people as young as 50 and over and some only give discounts to those 65 and over. If you're in doubt, just ask, and chances are you'll find some kind of senior discount applies at many businesses, both online and in your locality.

There are so many freebies available for seniors; it would be impossible to list them all. However, besides business and restaurant discounts, there are thousands of other freebies available for seniors. Hundreds are listed online, and you can find everything from free health and wellness information from most health organizations, to discounts on travel and free legal aid for seniors in need. A quick search at Google.com, or your favorite search engine, will turn up dozens of offers for discounts and free items geared directly to seniors.
Free Samples
Many other sites give out free samples for anyone to test their products. They can be anything from a serving of breakfast cereal to a new detergent sample to kid's products. Looking for free samples online is like hunting for a diamond in the rough; you never know what little gem you might uncover!
