Flat Panel TVs: The Waiting Game
Being a man, I'm biologically driven to want to latest and greatest electronics.all the time.now. Having a wife, I'm required not to buy the latest and greatest electronics when they cost several thousand dollars. In a nutshell, that's basically why I don't have a plasma TV (that and I can't get my traditional picture tube Sony to give up the ghost). But my patience has rewarded me as plasma and LCD TV's have fallen in price just like all electronics generally do.

For diehard Mac fanatics like myself, the introduction of the iPod not only brought a cool new product into the market, but it also meant that, once again, rumors of Apple's demise had been greatly exaggerated. For the first time since the introduction of the Mac, Apple had a product that was both on the cutting edge and immensely popular.

Breaking New Ground with a Small Footprint: Mac mini
For years now, Apple's number one marketing challenge has been convincing people that all of the money they spent on their PCs is worth just throwing away. Needless to say, that probably goes quite a long way toward explaining why Apple has had a hard time winning PC users over to the Macintosh. Finally, though, Apple seems to have stumbled onto a way to get those reluctant PC owners to take the plunge without having to take out a second mortgage.
